Privacy Policy

Intriga is a story game: you talk to fictional characters and try to get their secrets out of them. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the game, and how you can delete everything. It is written to be read, not skimmed.

Who we are

Intriga is operated by AMAZEKID LTD, Athineon Court, Flat 202, 51 Griva Digeni, Paphos 8047, Cyprus (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: contact@amazekid.net.

What we collect

An anonymous account. When you first open the app we create a random identifier for your device and a sign-in token. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number to play.
Your messages in a story and the character's replies, so the character can answer, remember what you said within that story, and so we can score the attempt and show results and leaderboards.
Game data: attempts, results, the display name you choose, likes, follows, blocks, and reports you send.
Settings: your language and your age confirmation (13 or older).
Purchases: whether you have an active subscription or unlocked items. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
Advertising and measurement data, only where allowed. On iOS we ask permission first (App Tracking Transparency). If you allow it, or on Android unless you opt out in your device settings, an advertising identifier and basic app events may be shared with our advertising and measurement partners to show you rewarded ads and to measure which of our ads bring players.
Technical data: app version, device type, and error logs needed to keep the service running.

What we don't collect

Your contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location. We don't sell your personal data.

How the characters work

Characters are generated by AI. To produce a reply, the story setup and the recent messages of your current attempt are sent to our AI model providers (currently Anthropic and Together AI). They process this data only to generate the reply, under their API terms. We do not use your messages to train AI models, and we choose providers whose API terms do not allow them to train on it. Please don't share personal information about yourself or anyone else in a story; the characters don't need it.

Why we use it (legal bases)

To provide the game you asked for: account, stories, results, purchases (performance of a contract).
To keep the game safe and fair: abuse and cheating prevention, handling reports, fixing errors (our legitimate interests).
To improve stories and difficulty using aggregated statistics (legitimate interests).
For advertising identifiers and ad measurement: your consent where the law requires it. You can withdraw it at any time in your device settings.

Who helps us

Cloudflare (hosting, database and delivery), Anthropic and Together AI (character replies), Apple and Google (app distribution and payments), and, once enabled, our advertising and measurement partners. Some of them process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your attempts, messages, results, likes, follows and blocks are erased immediately. Reports you sent are kept for up to 12 months for safety review, without any link to you.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. Delete everything from the app (You → Settings → Delete account) or see how to delete your account. For any other request write to contact@amazekid.net. You can also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or your local supervisory authority.

Children

Intriga is for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using Intriga, contact us and we will delete the account.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app.
